  1. i got a Y510P GT755M, bios version 3.05. I tried to find GT755M to SLI my laptop, sadly i can't find one and end up found one GT650M for Y500. i tried put the GT650M display card into my laptop and it just won't boot =.=. Do i need to use the modded 1.07 bios?
  2. Hiya I'm From Malaysia, currently doing nothing special but throwing myself into leaning the product about mobile GPU modding, overclocking and cooling. looking forward to learn more stuff and to know some friends from other corner of the world

    flash vbios?

really? sorry maybe i don't know much about the lappy he used. The method i tried works with the Clevo unit i had on hand
  4. As what i understand how lenovo works, they seldom dump more than 1 piece of Ram into the default spec of the laptop being promoted. So far i studied the product promoted in UK, ASIA and Australia, they are 95% single 8G/4G sodimm in the system. SO, how would it be possible b D.C when it's only one dimm? And, What i meant of the 4G reffered is when under SLI mode, the combined VRAM (2+2) are dedicated for the Display card only, not for the system. TBH, i know what i am doing and replying here as i reply base on TS's question. I just don't get what is your point by asking me to do more research as your "suggestion" is not relevant at all. 2 cents and peace

    flash vbios?

i recommend to do so: 1. Unplug ur faulty GTX675M 2. Boot into the windows with ur GMA and fully uninstall ur driver 3. Plug in ur new GC, and isntall driver (however i think it's not really necessary as NV should b smart enough to accept new nvidia display card)
  6. first of all, 4GB memory is GPU memory, which is dedicated for your display card usage only. But, imo, adding another piece of ram allows your laptop to dual channel, i think it's a good to go. If you have the budget
  7. Hi there. i am new to the forum. Seem like this is the right place for me to tweak around how to get rid of the lock bios
