These are Hivi and i just got them in the mail today, playing them and wow just wow they sound amazing!! IDT audio just sucks really bad with these type of speakers so before getting these i have been using the creative XFi 5.1 soundcard going to get me a dac preamp etc.. all in due time. Man as soon as hooking the MkII up to the soundcard boy my god they sounded completely different i immediately heard music playing songs like rehab and f me pumps by amy winehouse and then some rock and metal, 40s, 60s music my god music i have been listening to for years sounded completely different it's like hearing Denon headphones all over again!! Pictures will be added later on. I also bought these Swan M50W. I will be hooking up the speakers to the sub of the M20W as also the H2's. There really small speakers. Thanks a lot guys! I have always felt that people on these fourms have more care of my wellbeing than the people i so call friends. It was a bit difficult today since it was his funeral and you know you always hear things about someone close to you when their gone from other people so was quiet a shocker to learn a few new things about him i never realized and how he may of been an heavy drinker we shared more personality traits than i previously realized. Sorry for not answering man my father died, he was in a lot of pain been somewhat of a difficult time. Yeah man the G73JH is a real pain to change the parts even to put a SSD in the drive bay sucks you gotta reverse the caddy it's so stupid and they always give cappy seagate for drives not like Scorpio black WD drives best hard drives not hating seagate either but man thank god i bought me some new external cause that Segate 1TB Go Flex was going to die on me good thing i got it fixed though and i know i digress. Before in the past the G50 series was so much easier to work on they want to make it so hard to replace everything and you gotta have a steady hand because some of those cables can really mess up the machine that's how happened when my friend was pasting mine didn't go so well which resulted in a 2 month wait to fix it. Happy at least the new G743D has a higher illumance, black levels and brightness over all, and contrast the G73 has horrible brightness but great black levels but whatever. Well hopefully with the new G74 you can try it out i wish they went back too ATI those cheap bastards looked like the G73JH was really the best bang for your buck. What's new with you? Got any games to reconmend? I really got bored with gaming for the summer lol. And also it's only good to buy one of these Asus from people in good conditon cause it's just not worth it to buy something that is manufactured so cheaply and not to mention the warranty lol.

Well you can always get a spare one to be just in case. How many machines do you own? You sound just like me lol. But aren't you flashing the VBIOS after you extract it from gpuz? You should try what your suggesting just take your time with it if your take determined though. What problems are there for 6970 in the JH? I would love to try that but i really am not good with opening machines usually it ends up either going to the depot, or a tech comes out and fixes it lolz.

Yeah this is very weird if a gtx 260 can work in a G50V-T then i don't know why it can't work with a G73JW stupid Asus always trying to make things complicated. Put that 6970 in that M15x i agree with unreal you know you want all that power!!! Too bad the GTX 470 doesn't work with our machines that well it would of been a great benchmark card to compare to the 6970.

All very good valid points really are but if it was up to me i would own both lol it's great for people who want the ultimate photoshop/graphic designers the hardcore ones too who don't have the room for it lol. I know how you feel never giving up the M11x i have i love it just for that and the batterylife etc.. I just never liked the small keyboard god always bothers me. That thinkpad is really nice i like the new one with the IPS panel just buy it for that. Man i can't wait to work again to buy more machines like that and another few gaming and business machines. Anymore calibration for blue and green?

The M11x R1 is still a great machine and it still can be pushed to it's limit and damn cheap, just put an ssd in there and your good to go with it! Wish i had two R2's, i would have a lot of usage for them both one on the go and the other for home lolz. Michael when is your M18X coming? Keep the R3 dude.

This sounds awesome and looks amazing, keep up the progress that silver looks ten times better than the one i have! Keep up the good work maybe some of us can pay you to do that mod? Would you be willing to do so? It's better sometimes to do that than buy a newer machine, the R2 will become like the M1730 refusing to die.

It's an interesting design and great Best Buy Blue Label laptop and the regular Sony one but this is the best comprise your going to get from this over rated and over priced machines that they sell and have such crappy carbon fiber quality yeah right it's so plastically and weak and not to mention get's scratched easily!!

Awesome picture Brian, looks like that screen is the most calibrated it can be, and wow so awesome stock gpu running borderlands maxed out at 1080P and stays above 62fps, wish they didn't chop up the 6870 the way they did.
