Hello, I was wondering if someone could take a look at my vBios as I'm having issues and wondering if it's the 1w bug? This comes from a dual 780m GTX in SLI configuration from a clevo/sager laptop new in June 2013. GK104.zip Let me know if there is anything else needed, I'm not sure what's going on just yet and hoping to get to the bottom of it. -Cold

I have the newer Clevo P375SM and I too am having BSODs at different times. Is the 780m bios v2 still applicable to this model? Edit: I have dual GTX 780m's in SLI.

It's interesting because on the Alienware website, when you attempt to configure an Mx18 with window 8 and an SSD it complains and says that it's not supported - then I come here and see people obviously using them. Does anyone know why their website does this?

With a 99C temp, I'd be suspect of incorrect thermal application on the CPU, bad contact from the heat sink, or you live in a very warm area with little to no air flow. If you aren't afraid, I'd take the laptop apart and clean/re-apply the thermal paste with a known good brand such as arctic silver.

CL is more important than a small frequency bump - there is a pretty big difference between CL13 and CL9. OVM sucks RAM and CPU like no other... be very careful how much resources you actually give it, otherwise it does as advertised.

My main complaint is that their drivers are terrible. I've had multiple drivers not install correctly but then say correctly installed with a giant red X.
