Everytime I try to overclock the core clock via nvidia inspector or msi afterburner, it will automatically back to the default setting after a while ;(

Hello mate I am a new user who just get the Alienware 18 with 780m sli, and want to get some help for over-clocking problem ;D I flashed the vbios to svl7 edited version, and my default clock goes from 771 -> 850 now. However, I can't over-clock the GPU clock speed using either nvidia inspector or msi afterburner. More precisely, I can adjust the figure but the max current clock is still up to 849 as default even I run the high demand games like GW2 and Witcher 2. And once I over-clock the GPU clock and turn on the game for a while, my screen will just turn to black and freeze which forces me to restart. In conclusion, I can over-clock the memory clock without any problem but struggling for the GPU over-clock, any ideas? I am using driver 326.58 now, but I have the same problem for the 311.48 stock version too..

Hello mate I just bought the alienware 18 with 780m sli, and this is my first time to overclock sli system so I need some help I am a noob overclocker so in the past I just overclocked the single display card through Msi Afterburner or Nvidia inspector. This time I did the same procedure again but once I overclocked it and entered any game, my monitor would just turn black and stuck on there which forced me to restart..... Could anyone help please?

Hello everyone.. I am a newbie just bought the Alienware with 780m sli, not really sure about the safety issue of overclock. For example the 780m what is the safety range of clock and memory speed? And I am epscailly scared of adjusting voltage once I burnt my cpu by applying the max voltage in my childhood ¬.¬ Really glad that anyone could give me a noob guideline for overclock in entry level XD

I really hate the game become exclusively ¬.¬ it just forces us to buy the console while we are able to play it in computer with maximum setting. There are too many console-owned good games like metal gear solid, halo, the last of us, final fantasy.... One of the advantage for PC games is the mod, it just amazingly extend the gaming life pan especially for sandbox game like Skyrim and GTA. Hence Red Dead should come to PC as well to maximize the game utility!

I am using Razer 7.1 headset now.. cost me about £149 about 1.5 years ago. I am not a sound expert but in my personal view, comparing with Beats Mixr the razer's one is a bit weak on bass and subwoofer, also Beats is more crystal clear especally on vocal.
