2. 12.2 preview has older drivers, but has some other components that are updated. The latest drivers/ccc will be left, but all the old components will be updated

 5. Never had cf to compare. But I never really had driver problems with amd, but like I said i only had a single card. I don't care about green or red just what ever performs better at the time. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

 8. Check out the latest trailer for an exciting look at the voiceover cast in Mass Effect 3. Martin Sheen reprises his role as Illusive Man along with other fan favorites like Seth Green, Keith David, and Jennifer Hale. Jessica Chobot makes her in-game debut as Diana Allers, and Freddie Prinze Jr. is Shepard's latest recruit, James Vega.

 10. Yay, ^__________^ Does switching work for you too now?CCC showing 11.10 is just a bug - I've had it before. It's clear from the rest of your screenshot that you're running the latest version of everything Also if Vantage freezes (just hangs and/or goes to black screen) for you, trying re-installing the latest Adobe Flash Player. It sorted my freezing problems believe it or not ! Ramp the fans to full on HWINFO and then wait till the card is about 35 degrees then run the bench, good luck

 11. cool yeah looks like your doing great thus far i hope you get the ranges you are looking for. Maybe if your mem is closer to 1175 maybe your core can go up... overall voltage draw causes crashing and if your prefer the core being high perhaps it will help it go higher...

 12. okay. well sometimes after the vantage bench freezes i get some display driver reinitialized becuase the driver didn't react anymore from the tasktray of windows. the temps don't go over 75c (acoring to HWiNFO) doing benchmarks with HWiNFO maxing the fans manually the whole time. what i noticed is, if running vantage while HWiNFO max fan blowing is on, it crashes almost always at the graphics test 2 (that space ship stuff). i just did a successfull vantage run @ 843 / 1230 scoring 17059. want more though at the moment i don't even have a game installed yet, just playing with the benchmarking atm. i ordered ICD24 to do a repaste anyways, i just don't like this dell-standard-crap-grease.

 13. some cards are different if these can do the same ranges maybe run cooler if benching... if you want it for gaming at that than it may not be possible... depends you really have to ply with the speeds... sometimes these cards don't like round numbers but odd one my first 6970m's like 822 higher and they ran really hot comparatively and wasn't good over that for stable gaming in the long term (hours long session wise). max my 6970m's did benching was 850 and crashed every time mostly... 845 was bench-able for me easily but running cool and 822 for gaming stable in all games for me even maxed AA and etc so that it was bogged down and hot.... i repasted my gpus without thermal pads but ICD24 on the vram and anywhere i saw the pads. the core obviously was repasted... anyway at 822core and 1100 something vram it never went over 76C for nearly a day straight of fully loaded BF3 and Skyrim (ultra all option maxed) Play around your going to find a speed that stays cool and fast and going higher gains very little... and for going that extra distance in benching its important they are staying cool... what does hwinfo report your max temps as after benching and gaming etc.... if vram or core is hitting 90c your really due for a repaste. under 80c is a good range

 14. I'll never go back to AMD if I can help it. Not until they significantly improve their drivers which I doubt..so yes..the grass really is greener on the green team.

 16. I owe Alienware and Dell an apology. I had started losing faith. Alienware finally contacted me with good news. My last rep i worked with through this called today. This rep got my approval on the replacement system. He was very happy with the news he brought and so was I. The system is an upgrade to the damaged system I have. They are taking care of me completely and to me for the problem i had with the repair depot i feel it fully resolved. It pays to have a warranty and it pays to stay calm when speaking to representatives like Michael said Here is the config they are sending. 1 995JJ 330W A/C Adapter 2 F928P Powercord,125Volt,15Amp,10 Foot 3 JY579 AlienFX Color, Quasar Blue 4 J0CKX Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit Operating System DVD 5 HKNKK Alienware M18x Space Black Anodized Aluminum 6 F0Y8M Processor: Intel Quad Core Extreme i7 2960XM (2.7GHz(3.7GHz w/Turbo Boost, 8MB Cache) 7 W795M 8 GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz (2 DIMMs) 8 CY6K3 256 GB Solid State Drive Ultra Performance 9 RCWG4 256GB Solid State Drive 2nd Drive 10 02TT0 6X Blu-ray Disc (BD) Combo (Reads BD and Writes to DVD/CD) 11 DHRGK Dual 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580M SLI Enabled 12 V0H0X Intel Advanced-N 6200 a/g/n 2x2 MIMO Technology 13 65V5M Internal 60GHz WirelessHD Transmitter 14 C112J Documentation 15 KWTMR Accessory Kit 16 8CT07 Shipping Material 17 2FDNJ Information 18 0HP5J Service Software 19 8GGM9 Information 20 TWFDC Information 21 T72YP Information 22 T2N47 Label 23 W753G Information 24 WKG48 Software 25 GV0CP Wave Systems Software 26 DRX00 Software 27 4WYVT Software 28 99RFP Dell Support Center 64 Bit 2.0 29 M239M Software 30 XM544 Image Restore Software 31 G6WCP 18.4 inch Wide FHD (1920 x 1080) WLED Display 32 8VWCN Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate 33 NWP28 Nebula Red Anodized Aluminum 34 1M57Y Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth Module 35 3FMVJ 12 Cell Battery Differences were all upgrades except the wifi. it was an intel 6300 which wont be missed. I hope this will help answers some of the questions people had about re-pasting.
