I use ThrottleStop to monitor temps at the same time cause I saw that there were instances where there was a difference of 1C+- between them so instead of choosing one over the other I used both at the same time. I have taken screenshots so you will see.

I know this is primarily a laptop forum, who can pass up a "minor" update to a nice desktop though? EDIT: Didn't even see custom worklog forum, mod please feel free to move.

Yeah, I'm getting pretty close to the limit. 10mhz more on the gpus and it crashes every time. They'll be going under water soon, so that might help a little. Might even add a third card to show the 590/6990 boys who's boss. LOL. I'm thinking about going phase-change on the cpu, 5.2/5.3GHz seems to be the ceiling for now, without going crazy with Vcore anyway.

I feel sorry for you...Wouldn't be just easier to cancel,refund, than order?? So tidious, is tipical dell...Customer rep does not understand english properly, you try to explain a technical term, why is your laptop not working. The answer you get is "remove the battery unplug the PSU and hold power for 20sec"???? They almost never call you, you want something you call dell.Finally when they approve the replacement, it takes longer to get than, if you place a new order... C'mon dell you can do better... Wouldn't a customer paid few 1000 for a product deserves better service? BTW: checked dell site they removed the M17X-R2 so in the future is someone get replacement probablly we have to take the R3 or M18X.
