Bbbegone
So I'm planning to get a 27" or 24" monitor, but I only have enough in my budget to get something under $300. I do photo and video editing and play some light video games. Is it worth it to get a higher quality 24"? Or will I miss the extra 3"? 0001
to be honest, i bought an LG 27inch coming from a 24inch AOC, and i took the 27inch back i could barely tell a difference in the size between the two, id put the extra into a better 24inch or save up alittle more and get a 29inch ultra wide,
KCI123
Yes If U can buy 24" with G-sync (and now they arent so expensive) it will be win over any 27" without it
b1naryx
I'd always buy a better quality, smaller monitor over one a few inches larger, that's not as nice. There's a lot more to monitors than just screen size.
AleksR17x
I had a Asus VG278H with 3D vision 120hz 27" Was plenty expensive but worth it for me, a cheap big monitor is not worth it at all. Smaller high quality over big mediocre is a win.
thrownaway
If you do photo and video editing you've gotta put those extra dollars into color accuracy. You won't miss the extra 3 inches

It’s a 1440p 165Hz g-sync monitor 24in and I love it. I’m happy I didn’t get 27. I’m a little more than an arms length away
Skelther
I have some time ago LG 24GM77 and it was too small for me, went to Benq EW277HDR (FHD). Size was massive improvement for overall usage but fonts are like blurry mess so i got rid of this monitor. Like 3 months ago i bought 1440p Dell S2721DGF - perfect size, perfect ppi. Cant recommend this combo more - 1440p on 27inch got you like 108ppi + high refresh rate is best you can get
