Ok great, So I managed to make a dump of my bios with the CH341A programmer (it's the current latest X250 BIOS version). You can download it here: https://mab.to/t/vspkY38AYuP/eu1 Here is the list of mods I would need: - Advanced BIOS Menu - Disable CFG Lock (if option is not present in Advanced BIOS Menu) - WLAN and LCD Panel whitelist removal (if still present, I think it has been removed with the latest BIOS versions) And of course thanks a lot for your time and work!

Hi all. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad L440 laptop. I wanted to replace the wi-fi adapter with a more powerful one, but found that I couldn’t install it because of the white list. Hello, I have a need for a Dell M5000M bios to be unlocked. I was able to tweak it a bit with the maxwell tweaker but, it leaves much to be desired. The bios I am using is this one https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/188273/188273 Tried forcing a 980m bios and it worked provided I used a Dell 980m bios and used Optimus. Which, I need to not use optimus as I dual boot xp on my M6700. I also do not mind donating to help if needed. Thanks a bunch! -

Hi! In Lenovo ThinkPad X240, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread. So, to create your bios backup (dump) you must to use hardware SPI programmer only. Please read the first page of this thread. Also, your link ask some permission to download file.
