Hello world.  I've been here before but very briefly 8 years ago.  I'm getting lost in the forums looking for an updated BIOS for my Clevo P375SM-A motherboard for my old OriginPC EON17-SLX laptop.  Is it just me or are there no files for the Clevo section?

https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/files/category/60-clevo-p-series-sm-a/

My current BIOS is the stock version from

American Megatrends Inc.

Version 4.6.5

Release Date 03/31/3014

I'm trying to turn on Virtualization (VT) but there's no option for it on the stock BIOS.

Anyways, thank you for your patience and have a good day.

Hello everyone!

My name is Loïc, I am French and I hope everyone is doing well.

While desperately looking for a solution to my problem I came across this forum which could surely help me and give me answers. I have been interested in computers for a long time and I like to tinker in this area.

Hi everyone, i am Mauro from Belgium, i work in IT but i am passionate about many other topics such as electronic repair (micro-soldering mainly), car mechanics and so on.

I have done many different things when it comes to assembly, deploy infrastructure and repair, but when it comes to tweak BIOS, i don't remember i have spend much energy there.

I have a pretty old laptop which is my daily driver still working good running on Linux, a Sony SVS15 and SVS13 (for abroad use, it is smaller and lighter). They both suffice to what i have to do and run still pretty fast in my Linux environment.

The only thing i am lacking is a way to tweak the BIOS to enable SATA3 as you know these laptops were famous for their BIOS limited to SATA2 for whatever reason.

Hope i will find some help.

Cheers.
