ruggb
I am not sure if u r referring to external to the LT or external to the integrated graphics. The LT CPU talks directly to the graphics chip via its bus interface on the motherboard. There is no standard (yet) for that interface so all add-on graphic cards r specific to the LT.If the mfg sells an add-on card and it is the one u have, it is a matter of installing it into the LT.If u r talking external to the LT, it is not possible. elastofix
Asus tried to make something like that about seven years ago. It was called " Asus XG Station". An external graphics-hardware with an desktop Nvidia Geforce 7900. But you can imagine what happend - they failed. The idea was good but the real performance, the price and the thing that this device isnt that handy with a notebook makes it a non-starter. rhx123
We have a whole subforum dedicated to this:DIY e-GPU ProjectsMaybe a mod could move this thread, or you can create a thread in there and lots of people will be happy to help.It won't really get noticed in here. AESdecryption
Do you have a spare PSU that can even power the external GPU? You probably have to take out some money out of your wallet for some special parts. We have a whole subforum dedicated to this:DIY e-GPU ProjectsMaybe a mod could move this thread, or you can create a thread in there and lots of people will be happy to help.It won't really get noticed in here.I agree with rhx123 about posting this question to the eGPU subforum.
