Ivxy
Hi everybody, I wanted to ask if anyone has already tried his EGPU with Linux? Not to play but an external monitor to operate. I have tried it and it upset my Linux system. So I wanted to ask here first before I try this again. Without doing anything does not start Linux. It is suggested if I start the EGPU no later driver. If I installed via the Update Center to Nvidia driver, while Linux starts with the EGPU but the picture is not sent to the external monitor. I would be grateful for any assistance. Ivxy
An update, you should not install the Nvidia drivers in Ubuntu Software Center. This has already cost me twice my Ubuntu.

NBRsuuxxx
What config changes do you have to make to either-disable onboard gpu and enable egpu - swtich display to egpuand not end up with a black screen? Last time I tried this, I sort of bricked the linux install lol
