Have you tried lowering your tRP? Usually DDR3 can run tRP lower than tRCD and sometimes even CAS.

jealous as well! still trying to figure out if i should go with the corsair vengeance 1866 2x8GB kit or try my luck with those crazily ocable samsung sticks....well, ill have to wait anyways, gotta get some funds together first
