thiki
I have the Astro A40 but they are a bit pricy but for the sound quality the offer its worth it. Check out dealsofamerica.com sometimes they have good deals on headsets.
cj8397
If you want Razer, the Krazen Pro are cheap and gives excellent sound. I recently switched to these from Steelseries Siberia V2. I prefer the Razer as you can hear much lower sounds, mid is pretty good as well. Only con is they aren't good for higher sounds, than again I didn't buy them for music. Gaming wise, for the price, I can't think of another pair better than them.
Amok
I'm currently using the CM Storm Sirus 5:1. They do take a bit of getting used to as it's not a perfect surround sound - but there's certainly better than a straight set. They're probably the most comfortable to wear over long(ish) sessions. I've previously used sennheisers (good quality sound, but flimsy cable - prone to chair wheel degradation:P)
charlyle2007
I prefer platronics headset, but once I switched to steelseries, I feel in love it. It has a nice crispy sound with excellent microphone. Just don't put your mic really close to your mouth because it will catch your breathing sound.
