Founder Brian Posted January 24, 2013 Founder Share Posted January 24, 2013 Fan noise is normal for notebooks, especially MSI which have a single fan that cools both the CPU and GPU. Not sure about the keys though.

33773
I suggest you do not use OPTIMUS. do not use integrated graphics INTEL ( because INTEL integrated graphics fever is also big, also can let the fan speed, the noise increases. ) , use only GTX675M. Then you use“ NVIDIA Inspector”, set the "Multi Display Power Saver", 675M has been using 2D frequency P12, fan noise under such standby can be solved better. When you play the game, you to close "Multi Display Power Saver".

buluunee
update to latest EC here : http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GT60-0NC.html#/?div=Firmware&nbos=win8 . i think this is the right one assuming you have gtx 675m means yours is gt60 0nc. majster msi
Keystrokes= old keyboard. If you don`t like your "x" hard pressing you can send to ERC. They will swap keyboard. Use this EC BETA EC for GT60 (16F3) & GT70 (1762)
zonetrader
The MSI notebook is one of the loudest I have ever heard. Can I change the fan volume after flashing a new Bios version for the GT70?
MemotaZyka
You can buy a stand for your laptop. I think together they are work quietly than a laptop without stand.
