M11ash
Hi Guys,Any chance we can start a thread for the x51 desktop? I have moved to desktop from my M14x recently as I could put a GTX 670 in it and have been thoroughly impressed with the results. However this is one of my favorite forums for my m14x and before that my little m11x. Would be great if this community could muster behind the x51 as well. Thanks for your time,Ash
svl7
Sure, hahah, you already did Let me move this to the desktop section though. Temps are fine with such an upgrade? Did you need a new PSU? Some pics would be cool.
M11ash
Hey Svl7, Long time. Temps are good Max of 81'c with a mixture of speed fan and installing a ref model pcb card. The PSU rated at 330w is coming close to capacity. I've measured 311w being pulled under full load (heaven 3.0 running with max settings). I have removed the HHD and replaced with 2 128gb SSD's for better airflow into the GPU. I am at work right now but have some pics, I'll load up later on once I'm back at home or over the weekend.
