JohnyB33
Zotac released a new mini 1060 that fits in the Akitio box without bending! ( I think ) This adds to the small list of cards that can fit in the box without modification! https://jet.com/product/ZOTAC-GeForce-GTX-1060-Mini-ZT-P10600A-10L-6GB-GDDR5-Super-Compact/a57e18e6c7f547c8bf1fec890aa7192c
Kaewen
Nvidia has unfortunately not released any mac drivers for the Pascal range
omvomv
It will fit in the box without bending, though getting the cover on and the PCIE cable attached would be challenging. Fortunately I don't care about look and run mine with the cover off. The 1060 is a big, big improvement over the 960 I was previously using in it. Pretty quiet even under load. rene_canlas
I have just completed an egpu build using an Akitio TB2 and the Zotac GTX 1060 Mini. I had to cut the height of a standard PCI-E 6-pin connector by almost half to get the clearance needed to close the enclosure. I also filed the middle ridges off the aluminum case so it would not mangle the PCI-E wires when sliding the enclosure in.Sent from my SM-T705 using Tapatalk
HutsonTech
When can we expect pascal drivers for mac? Is there a link to monitor the progress of the driver releases? I upgraded to a Zotac GTX 1060 from a Windforce GTX 750ti. Works great on my Bootcamp partition, but it won't post on MacOS Sierra partition. If I run the automate-egpu.sh files in the terminal, the program recognizes that I have a GTX 1060 and it says everything is ready to go, but if I reboot the eGPU refuses to post. Need assistance if possible. Thanks! automate-eGPU-master.zip
