[G75VW] - modified BIOS & VBIOS for higher overclocking
Klem replied to svl7's topic in ASUS Gaming Notebook Forum
Describe in detail exactly how and what you're doing. - - - Updated - - - Options that you have indicated are placed in the stock BIOS from the ASUS web site. They should be the default. They were your early before flashing? Look in the program GPU-Z what is your version of the video BIOS? The last two digits of 19 or 1B? -
You can make a backup of your bios and post it here. What exactly do you want to unlock?
-
Great job man! Thank`s! But this is only for your video card. The fact is that any overclock is a lottery. How lucky enough. Much depends on the ASIC cards, and some other factors. I seen some laptops with GTX670MX and 1,1V did not take more than 1070Mhz.

"Klem so just to clear everything up? All of the info i need for windows, mac adress and all will stay the same, correct?" Yes!

When flashing my bios, all of your personal data (Windows keys, MAC address, serial number, etc.) still all your native.

[G75VW] - modified BIOS & VBIOS for higher overclocking

You are wrong. Why not? killerpc has a laptop with a GTX660M and in his case, with this bios mod he will get 1000Mhz on GPU. It will increase its performance in games. Definitely. In addition, with this bios mod he will get unlock the Nvidia limit only +135Mhz on GPU and will be able to overclock her GPU to 1150-1200 without overvolting. This will make it even faster her laptop for games. If you want overvolting for your GTX670M ("B" videobios) +0.02 V and 820Mhz+ on GPU, write me to PM. -

Yes, return to the original BIOS is very easy. Just flash your biosbackup.bin file. -
Hi Robbo. I make my mod bios and mod videobios independently from svl7. But i know that svl7 makes mod Bios files is very well. I think that we both make them with the same way. But perhaps in different ways.
