I can't pass 3.9Ghz on 4 cores at any time... After some seconds, it falls to 3.7Ghz. Below this clocks, it is full stable (37x, 36x,...) About a cooling mod, a third cooler could be added in the cpu region. I'm not about cutting the backplate ... It seems quite simple to measure some distances(bolts and higher spots) and draw a CAD of a functional backplate in order to print it on a 3D printer.

Prema already did his magic with P150hm's bios. It works but I want it to perform like it was expected...

Hi guys, It's been several months since I've bought my i7 2920xm ES and after a lot of experimental BIOS sent by Prema, there's still some issues. Even TDP setting to 90/95W, my cpu still hits a barrier at 80W and my multis, stop at 37/38x. Someone has a i7 extreme ES running a clevo P1x0HM? Thank you in advance!

Modern games like crysis 3 are very cpu demanding(scenes full of grass and explosions)... did you tested it? How many fps did you achieve?

In the gaming world, do you see that much cpu bottleneck in your sistem (ignoring benchmark scores). The performance is constant(without fps drops)?

Hi, I have a clevo P150hm with a 680M GTX and a i7 2920xm ES (4GHZ) but I´m not happy with the all plastic build quality and with some stability issues. I´m from Brazil and powerfull sistems cost a lot(For example a P370 with 2x7970m costs about $3500). I found a M17x R2 from a very careful owner with a RGB 1200p screen, i7 820qm and a single 4870m. If I sell my clevo and buy this AW, a i7 920xm and a couple of 7970m(maybe a single 780m gtx). It´ll be a good exchange? For those who have R2´s with crossfire 7970m, How is the gamming experience? The sistem is rock stable? cpu throttling? Thank you for all!

A MSI 670m gtx card is compatible with a clevo p150hm? I´m selling my 680m gtx and a buyer offered me this card.

I've installed a i7 2920xm ES and I'm trying to overclock it. Even using Prema Bios mod P170HM 80w/90w 32s I can only reach 3.3Ghz on turbo and 3Ghz under usage. My physics score is about 7200 at this time. I did the BIOS flash and then I change multipliers inside XTU and use Throttlestop. Is my card faulty or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

The problem is in the brick or in the psu? A 240w delta ac adapter can't run above 220w?

FPS drop may be due to instabilities in the system. In your case it may be because of the CPU throttling. If you set the clock to something lower, then you probably will get a more constant performance. You have mod your cooling system?

Actually my laptop had a 120W PSU. I mod a old 180W HP PSU in order to upgrade my GPU (560M to 680M). I'll buy a dell 240W or 330W PSU for it. I'm designing a big mod for the cooling sistem. I don't think it will be a issue. I'm from Brazil and I was just thinking if it will worth the $400. I'm playing Crysis 3 and I saw 100% CPU usage many times. You can give a idea of how much improvement I will get with this upgrade? Worth a memory upgrade from 1333mhz to 1866mhz?

I have a P150HM and I've tried saltius vbios (1.037V) to push my 680M higher. But I live in a very hot country and my GPU temp can reach 93 Celsius Degrees and at this point my GPU clock downs to half the original value. What is the more appropriated vbios that allows me to OC the card above the 135Mhz limit?
