Y580 owners that originally came with Windows 8. Are you able to enable secure boot in the bios? I am unable to find this feature on my laptop that came with Windows 7, but I upgraded to 8.

how do you know when your HDD is going or not?
jimmyd1321 replied to Jackscagnetti's topic in Desktop Storage
Back up everything you need. Then Defrag, then use DBAN. Dban will format it and wipe all the information, if it gives you any error during the process and halts, that means there is a physical problem, if it formats and wipes the hard drive clean, the hard drive is okay. -

Nvidia for their driver quality and updates. AMD for their value. -
You guys should consider beating the first Hitman games. GOG has updated the compatibility of the first 2 games so you can run them on every Windows system currently out.

Texas Chainsaw 1974 original. I prefer psychological scare like Silent Hill movie and it's games over modern gore and torture porn (saw, hostel, etc)

What mouse & DPI do you game with?
jimmyd1321 replied to Xonar's topic in General Notebook Discussions
I use a Razer Taipan with 400 DPI. I find that most games tend to be too sensitive so I had to keep the DPI low. I prefer ambidextrous design like the old Logitech G3, unfortunately Logitech has not made anything similar lately.
