  1. I've been promoted but can't attach files. I tried to DM them to you. But you can make your own custom vBIOS, google it, it's not hard. Use GPU-Z to backup yours first. You must use a working nvflash for your card (can't remember which). Search and read the flashing instructions for a Kepler Mobile GPU. Good luck!
  2. You can't unlock voltages in a M6700, nor CPU neither GPU. I have a highly customized M6700 with a BIOS edited by myself, custom IFR's and a 980m (after a K3000m). Everything unlocked (CPU at 4,3 Ghz each core an reference clock at 100,3266 Mhz) and GPU overclocked to my needs, both core an memory. Changes in voltage are made by the laptop regarding selected speed. Values are greyed out in any overclocking software. You can modify Boost table/States or Clock States in Kepler Bios Tweaker so GPU will be overclocked before using Afterburner. It's risky, be careful. I could send you my modded BIOS if I weren't in pre-promotion.
  3. You'll need an SPI Programmer to unlock the BIOS for overclocking the CPU. For the GPU, you need to flash a custom vBIOS in case you want to pass the limits.
  4. You can try to modify the vbios yourself with Kepler Bios Tweaker. I can't attach my orignal K3000m bios and the modded one, but I've been using it for years. It's not a great overclockeable card, though.
  5. Hi, I have the same setup. Have you tried the OC' vbios in the first post? I don't know if it works for a Dell laptop. Thank you.
  6. I just want to add that I have tested two 980m in a Dell M6700 and, despite of being Samsung memory chips, both GPU-Z and Nvidia Inspector shows "Hynix". Not sure that if it's a software bug or the info isn't provided by the laptop BIOS.
  7. Honeywell PTM7950 is the solution. After years of using paste and liquid metal, this is the perfect combination of both worlds.
