  1. Well hopefully I'm gonna get a M17x R3 with the 580m and 3D. Gonna save up for a 2960XM and see how we can manipulate it when it is inside...
  2. Every little helps. Plus it would make a little difference if the laptop was on a cooler with a bit of air flow.
  3. Well I dunno but I seem to think that you should bring the cooling rips right the the edges so the gaps come out at the sides as well. Right now it looks like despite the larger surface area, the heat feels boxed in.
  4. According to the guys over at mvktech, the 580m can be overvolted from the default 0.87v to 0.92v. Seems a little but it allowed the card to reach and go beyond 560 Ti clocks. Raking in around 17.8k GPU in Vantage!
  5. ON MY HONOR IN EXCHANGE FOR FREE COMPOUND I DO SOLEMNLY SWEAR TO TEST AND POST MY RESULTS I have a ES 6970m with 1120 shaders, similar to the 6990m. I would also like some to test out. I am in the UK. Will also send email
  6. Looks cool. Anybody out there want to do one for me? I need a new case as mine is pretty nackered and I'd like to pimp it out.
  7. Hey guys new around here but I'm a frequent member at NBR. People over there know me quite well and I decided to spread some love. I have been an Alienware dreamboi (someone who longs for one) for a while before in October I got a chance to trade my Macbook pro with an M15x. I'm a really fanboi not in the sense that I'm an accessorizer but a kitter-outer. Bombed all my monies on new parts including 920XM, 460m GTX and Crucial C300. I was chatting to some people and they asked how my mac was, I said I got rid of it. They asked 'too cool for you?' To which I replied...not cool enough. I think I deserve to be a fanboi.
