I just saw the guide, about backuping the rom, do SLI users have to select a specific index before doing so ?

The OC LV1 still exists for my Alienware 18 on A07 on 4900MQ, it's the actual multipliers that were greyed out, which considering the low values even at OC LV1, isn't an option for me so I went back to A05. That's such a shame since they did unlock the MXM fan controls on this Firmware revision :/

I replaced both my hard drives with larger ssds, went just fine and was really easy. Now I have 1*512GB and 1*960GB worth of SSD space Be sure to read the m17x's owner/service manual if you have doubts about how to do things.

I personally just went with the stock samsung ram using 4*8GB it's a little more expensive than other brands but it's very stable here. I tried the vengeance 1866 but I would often get a BSOD or a crash while using it, I believe the alienware motherboard is just not compatible with the ones I got, so in the end I switched back to Samsung and ordered more of it.

I have been wondering, is it possible to add gpu ids to the unlocked bios so the geforce GTX 780M becomes supported on the M17x R4 with the 3D panel ?
