Hey et all/ Don't really know anybody here but I've recently gotten a few contacts (could call them friends but not quite) who've got some old stock MSI laptops *MSI GT83VR TITAN 6820HK/ GTX1080 8GB sli *MSI WT72 i7-6920HQ/ Quadro M5500 GPU *GT72VR Dominator Pro i7-6700HQ GTX1070 etc.. Wondering if we're allowed to organise group buys here? If not all fine - was looking at doing this when I'm considering an upgrade myself Prices are Production costs -20~30% at best higher end models are less.. Just looking for interest here.. see if it would be worth my time to organize/verify/ship etc,etc.. *I'd possibly get my laptop for free, just for those curious and as a matter of disclosure.* Thanks for your interest guys I'd be doing the purchase in nov/dec with all items hopefully shipped for everyones Chrismas

looks like your battery has kaput. That pin is a major grounding pin, and if your battery has fried then its potentially dumped alot of power into ground.. Be glad your board still works Also new battery time.

For point 3, i'd say yeah would be the slots bandwidth issue.. Probably the cause of point 1 aswell.. tho i'm not sure on the lanes used for audio communication through PCIe Lanes.

Hey all, Currently looking for a replacement Ribbon cable or watyacalllit......... (reverse small flex 12p about 6cm long) and a new Steelseries JP keyboard. for the same device.. Looked on alibaba, and ebay for the ribbon cable and keyboard, can't find the right ribbon(searched for hours) , and would preffer a genuine keyboard(nothing looks genuine that i can see) if i can source it.... (really hoping for the new(not used) keyboard) Cable is for the power and turbo panel ... above the keyboard. Was damaged during disassembly(not by me) for a MS-1762 Laptop. GT70 - 0NC (now sporting a 980m) please and thanks folks

The unlocked bios will - as it suggests Unlock features for your complete control and satisfaction........... Primarily the satisifacation part of it. This is an unlocked version of the bios for your board. I'm currently running the same board with a 980m, with the new bios in it tho, and just waiting to download this file myself. Also just realised my cpuz is outdated better fix that xD Ah updated i feel, cleaner now... hahaha
