  1. If it's an .inf mod, do you have an idea what .inf file is it located in displaydriver folder?
  2. Is DSR possible in windows 8 OS?
  3. Yeah. Don't need to overkill the mems. Core speed is the way to tweak the gpu but not that high though
  4. Since nvidia locked the maxwell for oc'ing thru software.. Is it possible if svl7 or Johnkiss or anybody from the moderator to add (on the first pate) to tweak the core and memory speed? say for 970m and 980m vbios tweaks for 970m : - 970m_oc1st (135mhz core, 300 mem) - 970m_oc2nd(150mhz core, 300 mem) - 970m_ocxxxxx - 970m_ocxxxxx vbios tweaks for 980m : - 980m_oc1st (xxxmhz core, 400 mem) - 980m_oc2nd(xxxmhz core, 500 mem) - 980m_ocxxxxx - 980m_ocxxxxx
  5. Can help me to have a modified .inf with this one? heres the link for the driver nVidia Geforce Version 345.09 WHQL (64) here's my hardware id Thanks
  6. both of the .inf file you gave me is ok with the installation.. The problem I think is the driver. The issue is still the same, blank screen except for the cursor... Nvidia drivers is a hassle nowadays...
  7. I did disable driver signing. My nb is in my signature how to see Optimus model? Here is my HW ID This is my HW id using 344.80 drivers and is working flawlessly. other drivers i also did a successful installation without issues and with modified .inf. only this version is not working with my 970m
  8. This is bad. After succesfully installing the driver and rebooting to Windows 8.1. Black out. only mouse cursor shows up. Good thing I've got an unlock bios. I swtich from SG to Internal graphics and went to safe mode... Or is there a way to try this driver? Im using prema vbios which the hardware id changed from from 110c to 1558
  9. Is this driver still OC lock with afterburner, inspector? Or does this have a modified .inf for unlocking oc app's? Thanks
  10. Requesting for a modified .inf driver for my MSI GT60 - 16F3.. No matter how i edit and put these files (NVMIi.inf,nvdispi.inf) drivers won't install... Can you please help me ? thanks
  11. I think this is the reason why NVidia disabled the oc features in mobile drivers especially for 9xxm cards Check whether your card can use all of its VRAM @Rhadamantis.. I'll check where I put it.
  12. @Prema People are calling you, if you can unlock NVidia drivers
  13. Agreed. And my MSI GT60 (16F3) is also a clevo now. Thanks to you Prema
  14. Here's my benchmark on firestrike with Prema mod vbios
  15. Thanks I've got it. Although Ive noticed the following : Hardware ID : svl7 PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13D8&SUBSYS_110C1462&REV_A1 Prema PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_13D8&SUBSYS_15581462&REV_A1 Power Limit svl7 : enabled Prema : disabled Voltage svl7 : 965mV Prema : 993mV Why is power limit disabled? Is the voltage increase to 993mV safe ?
  16. Will you be releasing an updated vbios like with svl7 mod? I't wont successfully install on my NB. Will appreciate if you release a generic vbios with these features in it. Or can request if you can modify my bios? so the vbios can recognize my nbs bios normally (without modded .inf)? Thanks
  17. It is because your nb is one of the latest model of msi that is haswell. The bios reads properly the vbios of your notebook so no issue. My GT60 got the ivy bridge and the bios doesn't officially supports 9xxm mxm gpu's. The nb need's a modified .inf in order for the drivers to install successfully. Prema vbios doesn't need modified . inf files. So that's the reason why
  18. @All Where can I find those 970 vbios mod by Prema? I want to check it out thanks Found it.. But it seems those vbios only works with clevo notebooks only. Can't use a modded .inf driver (Won't install)
  19. There's a latest beta bios release from NVidia posted in this forum nVIDIA GeForce Drivers 347.12 I've tried it but still 3rd party tweaking apps like msi afterburner or NVidia inspector is disabled on this driver.. Nvidia is making gimp drivers nowadays
  20. Do you mind showing us a pic of your watercooling kit for your aw 15 to us? thanks
  21. Now this made me laugh with those "sissy-boys". Now what about the new upcoming AW with soldered cpu and gpu? I think the Lead R&D team of Dell-AW is pure sissy then? LOL Oh well time for me to save some $$$ for that xtreme ivy bridge then. hehe
  22. I think you are right there. it's the ec firmware that's throttling. i updated my firmware that resolves the throttling issue and it's gone when i benchmarked it with 3dmark.
