Yeah, you need some time to get used:) But even more you need to get what guy above did: He ha 6-th Intel chipset=> used 7-th v. of firmvare=> claims he flashed 8-th v. of ME... Guy must work for Intel I would say:D

Just out of curious, why would you flash ME8 using software peovided for 7-th version for your chipset? And how can you be sure that your BIOS doesn't believe that your ME firmware is bricked and that's why it loads without it (and thetefore you got all that)?

I doubt you get help here. Even if you write in detailed way what happened, when, how in pure English language. So it means you can't flash. It is stupid uefi feature. I know that svl7 knows how to flash parts of bios.

You want too much. 1. Impoossible. 2. Try throttlestop. 3. Useless.

In unlocked bios you may set custom timings and frequency. Use CPU-z tool and check memory tab. What freq and timings are there?

I personally have no idea if clean install in legacy bios prevented you from bios flash. Try to format usb stick.via hp usb format tool in fat using dos bootable files. Or create uefi bootable flash drive and set bios to uefi and try to boot from flashdrive.

Khenglish, can you look at this? This is from my ME firmware and here how it affects on OCing FSB through BIOS. I noted something there what I think should be changed for available overclocking at least through BIOS. Please ignore what is written in Russia. What do you think about upper 2 (deviding values). I heared that MSI GT783 even with unlocked XM CPU couldn't be overclocked in BIOS, only using ThrottleStop... It was Hell666set who told me that Intel ME firmware locked it that even with unlocked BIOS he didn't see where he could set 1/2/3/4 cores limits...

I thought that if you have external clock pll chip than ME firmware gives nothing.

Hey people. I have just flashed new MW firmware without a glitch. Like a driver update it was so simple! Maybe it is only on MSi but here is MEInfo and it says that local firmware update is enabled. Anyway, I just used bat file with code: FWUpdLcl64 -save old.bin FWUpdLcl64 -f ME_8.1.40.1416.BIN pause and newer firmware and that's it. ALthough I haven't checked if that gave me anything exept newer version. Guy Klem66 did that on his GE series laptop and shared this info with me.

Ambient temp effect it very much. Very very. But you can drill holes is the bottom of laptop for example or just take off bottom cover, although it is not comfortable at work. Maybe a cooling stand like Notepal U2? Try to put a book under it without blocking holes ad check how max temp has changed.

Forget about it. It is not worse the hassle. + 80MHZ equals much higher temprature.

If it is hard to find time for mod then why nit to ask Forge for that bios? Just saying... As I know, 650m can work at 1005MHz core while downvolted to 1.025.

No. No gpu upgrade here. But you can overclock it up to 40% or so.
