I was quite shocked when I could clock it at 1175 MHz but when I tried some benchmarks like 3Dmark11, Metro2033, even furmark always led me to this crash 'The NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the Windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue.' I am wondering if anyone is running it smooth with the new bios ? I am running on MSI OEM laptop and latest WHQL driver. Or does anyone know how to overcome with this crash ? Thanks

I am using the bigget brother MSI barebone GT70 that is paired with MasterCooler Notepal U3. Well, not a significant drop like what Xonar said. I'd say it is not recommended. Just put something to make it elevated for more airspace room. Sorry for the bad english.

Overclocked mine at 906/2400 with default bios. Wondering whether overclocking gpu clock or memory clock will give better performance. Is it too much to run it at 2400 on memory ? Because I am seeing most of people use 2100 - 2250.

CoolerMaster Notepal U3. Mine is silver and it looks pretty cool. Love the way you can move the 3 small fans where you really need them.

I am wondering the same. I am afraid optimus would reduce my overall performance.

I have Forsa 9986 which is a MSI GT70 barebone for non-backlighting keyboard. I have downloaded the 1782 bios through MSI web driver download. It always says "target board is different". Is it actually possible to use the bios for my laptop ?
