After reflashing prema vbios on my 980m to the latest version, is it required that i reinstall drivers?

For the cpu you can go into bios and enable cpu lvl 1 in the performance tab. That will give you a 200 MHz overclock to 3.8ghz if I remember correctly. That's the easiest way but Alienware is know to set the voltages higher than they should be. Won't affect you much but will make things a bit warmer. Other than that you can use xtu to overclock the cpu. There are plenty of guides in the Alienware section as well as others results that you can look at to get you in the ballpark of what settings to tweak Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the drivers are just yet another mess just like the last long string of drivers from nvidia lately. I along with lots of other people are having issues with it so it's not just you. Gotta wait until they finally fix it or until there's a mod of some sort Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

you should talk to woodzstack either on these forums or notebookreview, he will give you the best deal. Alot of people order from him. I ordered from him and my 980m came in 2 days. The only issue you might have is with import tax and duty, whenever i ordered something like that into the UE, they make a big deal about that. Message him and ask, hes probably shipped to germany before so he might know more about that. The other option that might work for you is ceg-hardcore customs. They are about 150 to 200 usd more per card depending on the days exchange rate than woodzstack but they are located in germany. Your best bet would be to message woodzstack

I have an Alienware 17 r5 mid 2013. Just got the 980m but haven't installed it because I'm still waiting on a triple piped heatsink. I see that there is one inf file for dedicated and one for Optimus. Do I overwrite both or do I just overwrite the one for the mode I'll be running the card in. For every driver i have to overwrite a new inf or can i use the same one for every driver release? Also do i have to copy both the dedicated inf and optimus inf or just the one for the mode ill be using the system in. Sorry, new at this
