I took the plunge and bought the SLN1 IPS screen model because the SLN2 is out of stock everywhere. The only difference it seems to have is the brackets but it can be fitted to the m11xR3 easily (unlike it was reported on some forums the screen is not glossy but matte). The problem I have is that the brightness of the screen is very low.. I didn't manage to resolve that and I put the old screen back but I am willing to give it another try if anybody has some ideas about how I might resolve it. I have the unlocked bios and there are some options for the Intel Graphics Adaptor for the backlight control but it didn't do any good changing any of them. One thing I haven't tried is disabling the DBE and CE option in the bios which I understood may have something to do with auto contrast/brightness. Thanks

What drivers do you use? And what version of Windows? Because I changed my wifi card with another one I had some conflicts between the intel drivers. I had to get some legacy one.

Has anybody upgraded the wifi card in their R3 to with the Intel 7260AC or Qualcomm Bigfoot-AC or some other?Is it working ok on Win8.1? I have now an Intel 6230 Advanced and I have some issues with the Intel drivers causing freezes. Thanks

How stable is the system after the overclock? Do you experience freezes? Is it possible to set the RAM to 1600 with this BIOS? Do you also have the HPET option in this unlocked bios? Thank you

Did anybody change the front bezel of the screen? Mine for some reason is full of scratches and marks that I can't get rid of. I only found the whole assembly (with the lcd included) for sale but I would only like to change the bezel and upgrade to an IPS.

What driver do you guys use for this sensor on Win 8.1? The regular one named Accelerometer P11 gives me very high DPC latency and it's not officially supported on Win8.1. Also do I really need it if I have a SSD? Thanks

Does anybody know if the i7 R3 works with 16gb of RAM (2x8). On Intel's website it says that the processor only supports 8. Thank you
