  1. Pretty much all racing games that support a controller, on a keyboard you either go flat out on the throttle or don't give any throttle, while a controller allows for much more precise throttledosing. I've played F1 2014, that game is basically unplayable when using keyboard and mouse, they didn't even bother to put in mouse support in the UI, so a controller would have helped me out there.
  2. Hello everyone, My name is Willem, and I live in the Netherlands. I love building computers and gaming. i've had an interest in technology for quite some time now. Currently i am learning to become an Software Engineer. I found this forum when i was looking for the Lenovo y500 modded bios, because the network card that is currently in it is way too crappy for our new Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router, and Lenovo decided to lock the bios. I hope i can contribute to the forum, i'll certainly try
  3. This is why technologies like Gsync and FreeSync are so cool, VSync always has drawbacks, whether you are running above or below the refreshrate of the monitor. Vsync will often produce noticable inputlag from your mouse because the computer has to drop frames. Personally i'd rather have screen tearing than mouselag, so no Vsync for me.
  4. The wait for this game was incredibly long, i can't wait to see the amount of frames per second my gtx 670 can deliver, this is the kind of game that make upgrading necessary.
  5. I am currently playing Fallout 3 again, i just love that game. The open world, and there is always something you can do. Fallout 3 has a fair amount of storyline, both in the main story and sidequests. And if you like good story lines, maybe check out some Telltale games like The Walking Dead, nothing too scary, and a great story.
  6. If you want it to be gaming based you should consider swapping out the i7 for an i5 , and get a GTX 980 instead. Or you could always get one GTX 970 now, and add another later on. Most games have decent scaling in SLI, but it will consume more power (not a problem with that power supply). To me it looks like all those parts will fit together without problems, definitely looks like a nice gaming rig.
