I think you can use mx-4/mx-2/Gelid Solutions GC Extreme or another only for MXM gpu-unit (no replace thermal pads) and cpu.

Recuva (not professional) is free and easy and one most powerful for home use (normal HDD). But for my experience is worse for flash card recovery etc.
