  1. Actually, it becomes a 980N. Just not the factory one with dual power inputs.
  2. Funny thing is...I can't do that overclock on windows 7 or 8, but only on windows 10. I thought it had something to do with the hpet timer, but that doesn't seem to be the case. And I think this machine translates the resisters different. Still working on the real answer. Edit: Nevermind, I can now.
  3. So after this new mod with the core, i wont be able to catch you now...lol
  4. Me personally would just order the right one. Less chance for a mistake. Although I'm still waiting on the new cards though. To see if they can be put in here or would i need to buy an upgraded chassis.
  5. I actually have access to everything but the stencil....decisions...decisions....:D Edit, does the memory overclock higher now or is it locked around 1.7 to 1.8ghz?
  6. Great job!!! You have now fully converted a 980M to a 980 Desktop card. Literally!
  7. Mine are running at 2400 mhz. And that is due to User Residual voltage. I forget what his name is here.
  8. Welcome to Tech|Inferno @Vitaliy Jungle!
  9. No. we have had our original licences for a while now, but thinking of going bigger with it now.
  10. Yeah, he just sent me an email and my updated version as well. Edit: Seems like user error on my part. My memory is running at 3600.
  11. I was, but found that i was leaking more power than I needed too. Im back down to 2, but next week i'll know if i need to go back up to 4.
  12. I would be able to flash my 3600's for my desktop. Right now it only runs at 3200.
  13. Now that would be a good group of fellas there!
  14. I have my half or cut when ever you guys are ready.
  15. I say a few of us go in as a company and get the full version. lol Edit: looks like we should have bee over here instead..... http://www.overclock.net/t/508751/thaiphoon-burner-super-blaster-latest-news/10
  16. Looks like they got slick and went the way of the "subscription" Pro is 39 a year.
  17. That's what I'm using now. and it has enhancer. Matter of fact, I need to update to the newest version. Edit Awh, I see it now. It's disabled for DDR4
  18. Well....there is always that. lol Don't drink a 12 pack this week and buy a new licence on the machine you are going to keep the longest. That's what i did....Well not the drinking part... 16 Bucks is pretty cheap. That would cover you for DDR4. Edit: Humm...looking at that 55 for a lifetime license...
  19. Let them know you have a new motherboard because you do. XMP seems to be the only way for the voltage increase. Although the M18Xr2 would let you change it in the bios, but after a crash it would reset the voltage.
  20. More than likely it's locked on sodimms....
  21. XTU wasn't really meant for laptops and most boards not manufactured by Intel. It was used as an improvision if you didn't have something else for your board. And since all the big names had over clocking utilites, intel decided to come with their own.
