did you try to change the region english (usa) in your control panel advised in 3rd note ? and disabled all antivirus, firewall, windows defender etc.. ? its like something in your bios setup blocking the way...try to find the solution in your bios setup there is nothing left i can say more

not working ? ? ? and what is not working ? you cant flash ? and what the program says tell us ? ok lets start this thing from the beginning... first create a new folder in your C: drive and named it NVFLSH if you want to use svl7's vbios then copy Nvidia 980m - 'OC edition' rev0.rom file into that new folder and rename it 980mslv7.rom then copy all the files in mnvflash_windows_5.196.zip into the same folder again then push and hold windows key on your keyboard and push X together and select command prompt (Admin) then write there "cd c:/NVFLSH" enter after this it should be like this C:\NVFLASH> now write there "mnvflash -a" enter or "mnvflash --list" enter .. now you should see there two cards as below; <0>Geforce GTX 980m ...... <1>Geforce GTX 980m....... and then the line you must write there to flash your cards is for the second card first nvflash -i 1 -6 980mslv7.rom enter and follow the instructions and press "y" yes all the time if everything is ok after card 2 is finished then you can go for the first card then nvflash -i 0 -6 980mslv7.rom and same thing above...and restar the pc and enable gtx 980m in device manager or install your nvidia driver NOTE: Do not install 344.75 above drivers 347.09 and 347.25 both of garbage from nvidia for gtx 9xx users... 2nd NOTE:if mnvflash doesnt work use nvflash comes with premamod here is the link ==> http://forum.techinferno.com/attachments/clevo/13527d1420546022-clevo_8gb_gtx980m_oc_pm_v1.rar 3rd NOTE:if nothing works open windows control panel and choose region and in format section choose English (United States) and apply and restart your pc then check the program if its gonna work or not...? and Nooo its time to or :Banane36:or :64:or :Banane45:or :waaaht:or :22_002:or :50_002:or :ah:or :23_002:or or which makes you or:59: or or and finally good luck dude i hope its gonna work this time IMPORTANT NOTE : BEFORE FLASHING DO NOT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR VBIOS FIRST...! here is the command ==> mnvflash -b org980m.rom or nvflash -b org980m.rom

nothing bad happens dude...when you disabled both cards windows switched back to its drivers and your gtx 980m will be titled as " Microsoft Basic Display Driver" your screen is not gonna black out dont be afraid dude.. and bingo now you can flash your vbios with cmd or windows powershell

hi dude.. as far as i know from my prev. sli system you must disable sli first in nvidia control panel sli configuration option(so maximize 3d performance shouldnt be ticked) and then disable both cards in device manager and flash your vbios either with mnvflash or nvflash comes with premamod good luck - - - Updated - - - and im a GT72 2QE user and i use pure UEFI(no legacy mode) too and able to flash both custom vbios

a modded ec firmware for gt72 ? where did you find it ? and we have the same model with same specs.. anyway there is bios update for gt72 ==> MSI Global - Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Motherboard, Graphics and more says that : Modify ME VSCC table support BIOS ROM:GD25B64B we need to update with this thing or ? btw im planning to activate super raid 3 but do i need to buy one more 128gb ssd to do that or 2 ? i have 2 pieces of 128GB Kingston SSD on my rig right now and did you overclock the cpu i7 4720hq? i did with xtu +200mhz but cant see a worthy improve - - - Updated - - - so thats true we have to cooperate for making a custom vbios together, BigKid...! i dont know using hex editor btw

i looked at your 3dmark score and saw smthing interesting your overall score is very close to me mine is 10197 overall but your graphics score 12373 but mine 13083..? your other score is better than me so you get 10169 even we have the same cpu i7 4720hq my values are 1365mhz gpu 6000mhz mem 1.1volt(+100mV) causes to make max 76C, even in watch dogs i reached 83C then with cooler boost reduced back to 72C no problem.. and your +50mV is not enough to feed to gpu in real time test just like playing games and you get crash or freeze with your values, dont trust 3dmark

You have to be wrong dude.. and as i said before i get 9.2k with stock and 8.4k with your modded vb even using the same frequencies (+135gpu +200mem) from 3dmark which shows your vbios is not perfectly suits msi gt72..its better you should check again the vbios i sent

is that score 10169 overal firestrike score or graphical score ? your gpu should be 1313mhz with +275 and your mem 6200mhz with +600 ...all i really want to know can you play games without crashing or freeze with those settings especially with +50.mV voltage which is really not enough to feed the gpu...i was using 1365mhz gpu + 6000mhz mem +100mV results an overall 10197 fire strike score and 13083 gpu score - - - Updated - - - all you have to do first switch the gt72 to discrete graphics pushing the gpu button so you disabled intel gpu then restart (more safe i think) then disable gtx 980m in device manager and use windows based nvflash comes with premamod thats all and dont forget to backup your vbios as you know before flashing...if you dont know the commands just follow this guide http://forum.techinferno.com/nvidia-video-cards/2166-%5Bguide%5D-nvidia-vbios-flashing.html so welcome to the real world..! if everything goes well

i tried every driver from 344.24 to 347.09 ..the best one is 344.75 which is i am currently using.. note: in some benchmark test sites such as notebook review and others they reported that msi gt72 gets better scores and fps with 344.00 driver and 344.24 cause to stuttering and give bad fps... according to this i searched that driver in msi's official web pages but couldnt find it which is like a ghost..finally i found that driver written for GT72 in some 3rd party web pages and downloaded but after installlation my screen got vibrated continuously so then i immediately delete it in safe mode... anyway you can use all of them except the garbage one 347.09..

yes premamod works without any problem with its icc color profile (Chi Mei Innolux N133HSE-EA1) after a custom screen calibration... used this little program to do so, very easy and wonderfull results ==> Calibrize and i use msi afterburner 4.0.1 the latest one for GPU and Mem oc. and nvidia inspector for voltage settings together..actually i didnt get any crash with 1430 mhz GPU,6300mem clock and 1.125volt in all 3dmark14 tests but in real time test just like playing games under full load this values give a crash either while booting the game or after 1 minutes of playing...so the best values are written my previous post without anycrash or freeze.. so you can use premamod on your gt72 just like me without anydoubt if you really wanna taste it good luck

i had issues with svl7's gtx980m vbios and its not working stable on GT72..btw with clevo's gtx980m vbios made by premamod i can successfully achieve 10k overall fire strike v1.1 score in 3dmark14 (means + %22 performance) with 1365mhz GPU + 6000mhz MEM + (+100mV) 1.1V + 200mhz CPU overclock means 3.8GHZ and played with these settings COD Advanced Warfare nearly 3 hours + Watch Dogs 2 hours + Batman A.Origins 10 hours without any crash or freeze...i love this shit gt72 :51_002:and verrrrry happy not to buy asus's TOAST machine g751 but if u try to go further you ll get crash in 1 minutes believe me even the temperatures below 75C anyway, andone more important thing as i said before i get lower score with clevo's vbios with same frequencies compared to stock vbios so it means this monster machine actually can go further with a more stable custom vbios..plus temperature is not a PROBLEM on GT72 even playing the watch dogs it cant go not more than 72-73C and 4 days ago when i trying to go further with fsb bus speed and mem speed in intel extreme tuning utility after some settings applied xtu told me to restart the machine and damn....! After restart the shit always restart again and again and again and cant boot right now:72: and this makes me normally this thing must get back to its default settings after the first restart crash but GT72 doesnt know this and made me shocked....even in my prev.laptop lenovo y510p SLI model which can return its default settings applied not compatible settings in xtu after first restart crash...!!!! i got the machine to msi service to clear cmos and looking forward to see the good news.. anyway i already sent my original GT72 2QE vbios to PREMAMOD for modding and im sure if he gets time he ll do it he promised

ive asked a question in my last post just for double check and to be sure but nobody answer...this thing(msi gt72) is not cheap and i dont get money from trees..! anyway; Firstly , my rig is MSI GT72 Dominator Pro 2qe which has GTX 980m 8GB Secondly, i just flashed 980m mod.bios on my system and i tried almost every possible gpu,mem and volt.combinations and spent nearly 3 hours and get too many crashes to achieve the optimum performance settings with this custom vbios.. i used 3dmark14 fire strike test with nvdia 344.75 drivers i always get with the stock oc bios 9.3k and with this bios with the same frequencies get 8.4k which is not going anymore than that..and perfectly shows that this custom vbios unfortunately is NOT SUITABLE with MSI GT72 the max point i get with this custom vbios is 9.6k with 1357 core clock and 6000mhz mem clock with +0.75mV volt. normally this values should give me a minimum 10k.. and somebody said its releated with psu and we need 300watt ...sorry dude in the msi dragon center we can see the power comsumption and that reaches max. 175 watt nothing more and we have 230PSU..so your theory is dead..! in short , this custom vbios gives MSI GT72 more heat nothing more..! so you guys really want to help, i can send you my stock vbios so you may create a more stable custom gtx980m vbios for MSI GT72 users. thanks for your effort and work for the community little note: i can overclock my screen to 70hz with stock but with modded vbios only get 65hz

hi svl7..I just bought a new MSI GT72 Dominator Pro 2QE model which has a GTX 980M 8GB version..and came with I7 4720HQ instead of 4710HQ CPU..so can I use that modified vbios directly on my laptop or do I need to send you my vbios for modding, thanks ?note: im getting 9387 fire strike v1.1 overall points and 10987 graphical points from 3dmark14 with stock overclock +135mhz gpu and +500mhz mem NVidia drv.344.24do you think how much difference will be there after modded vbios flashing ?

i have same laptop 750m sli with 8GB Ram and 1TB HDD and im very happy with that.. secondly there is NO intel 4600 graphics chipset(not graphic card) in this laptop (at least in my model maybe some models have) thirdly if your model have it then you should see it in device manager under the display adapters section..if so check if its enabled or disabled.. if enabled then go to nvidia control panel and choose manage 3d settings / Global Settings / Base Profile ==> go to CUDA-GPUs section..you should see there 2 GeForce GT 750m and Intel 4600 graphics(if u r not daydreaming)...tick which one you want to use and apply thats all... if disabled then make it enabled and continue like above İf disabled but gives some errors this time then find the newest drivers from the lenovo or intel site according to your OS and firstly uninstall the previous driver completedly and restart then install new one and see what happens.. fourtly you can reduce power comsumption by reducing the value of maximum processor state %40-50 in conrol panel/ power options/ change plan settings/ change advanced power settings/ processor power management/ maximum processor state...or use ThrottleStop 6.00 set multiplier to 10 to run cpu at 1 GHZ and offcourse whatever frequency you want.. fiftly in battery condition system does NOT use 2nd gpu although its enabled in nvidia control panel..in other words sli is disabled automaticaly when you switch to battery...(dont believe just bencmark) sixtly you said battery is finished in 1 hour..i play BF4 nearly 2 hours with wifi on...there should be some problem on your system..go to lenovo energy management and make sure maximum battery life is choosen..and i strongly suggest you to do battery gauge reset at the same place.. finally today im in a evil mod. some words maybe offensive bad luck

You can use the RETAIL (no volume copy VL) windows 8.1 iso to do a clean install...just choose the version of your pc came with(core edition) at OS selection window during installation.. note:if your pc comes with swedish language maybe you should find an iso with that language support if english iso not works note2:i suggest you to download all of the windows 8.1 drivers from lenovo site before installing windows 8.1 if you dont have the latest good luck

yes you can mod your 2nd gpu with KeplerBiosTweaker program to do that firstly backup your 2nd gpu vbios then you can mod it in this program and flash your modded bios back but its a little bit complicating to mod gpu correctly..i cant write here how it should be but you can search on the net...good luck and i think svl7 has died..R.I.P i wish he makes fully unlocked ver 2.07 bios or Should we create a new thread about this to make pressure on him(come on dude you can do this in one hour) ..!

i didnt say those play bad together but not a good choice..if i decide to use AMD gpu then i'll take AMD cpu which makes the system more stabil more harmony more compatible or if we say intel cpu and amd gpu is a good choice then amd cpu and amd gpu is better choice that what im trying to say

hi svl7..! i have y510p with 2.07 bios and i made a backup of my bios file successfully with FPT_BACKUP_95 program and took a result screen image with it...your fptw64 didnt worked and it says "fptw64.exe cannot be run on the current platform" anyway..so i want to have a FULLY unlocked ver 2.07 bios not only just whitelist and i can send my backup file to you if you want to help or is it possible to downgrade to 1.xx bios from 2.07 ? thanks hit F2 continuosly when you start the computer especially when u see lenovo logo which makes you enter setup and you will see the bios version on the right upper side on your screen try this program to make a backup of your bios "FPT_BACKUP_95" it worked for me..and i need a ver 2.07 fully modded bios file too..i modded my second gpu and overclocked it to 1260mhz and it works like a charm without any crash and shut down..but for first gpu you cant make a backup because its not a card..so we need to have a fully unlocked ver2.07 bios.. pls help svl7 i think the time has come to make a fully unlocked ver 2.07 bios Come on dude what will you do with a turtle speed os like windows 7 compared to 8 ? windows 8 is much more faster on this machine,im not talking about booting up speed etc..im talking about games,apps runs faster on windows 8..there is huge fps difference like 10-20 i dont agree with you about primary reason..when it comes to modding our target is to fully unleash the thing and set it free
