  1. Hi there! I am using a RAID 0 ssd setup in my own rig, just to get a few things out of the way: 1) RAID 0 scales almost liniar with ssd's, als long your motherboard and CPU can keep up, you'll almost double your performance. 2) SSD's are rock solid, even after using my 2*120 GB Corsair Force GT drives alot daily, it's still 100% functional. 3) Even though the performance goes through the roof with a raid 0 setup... You won't really mention the diffrence. Unless you're going to benchmark to see how fast your RAID 0 really is, it feels exactly the same as 1 SSD. The best option is to have 1 big SSD and have your main OS installed on it, so that be BIOS can be on AHCI instead of RAID. That way you'll keep the TRIM enabled and, needless to say, that way you will not lose performance over time. My advice: If you really want just a tad faster loading speeds with big files, shoot for RAID 0, otherwise you could keep yourself away from the hassle of RAID and al the driver issues that may go with them.
  2. Hello there! I am Khatarian, studying in the Netherlands to become a Network Administator. Pretty much I am a gamer, my main rig is build for performance and virtualisation (r9 290 and an I7 4770K). I will try to help where I can, but I don't have alot of knowlegde of laptops, but I do have alot more knowledge with networks and desktop related problems.
  3. There is no gain yet for directX 11.2 over 11, just buy a card which suits your need best. Word of advice, the price difference of the R9 290x over the 'regular' R9 290 is noth worth the performance gain. If you like to use AMD mantle for games which support that API, go for AMD. If you prefer Shadowplay, then go for Nvdia. If you're going to use your PC for LiteCoin mining however, go for AMD, those cards are beast at mining those coins. Though, I believe your main interest will be gaming.
  4. If the battery and the adapter are 100% working, than the issue could lay at the motherboard. I'd check the adapter if it's outputting 20 volts with a multimeter, if that's the case, it could be time to send the laptop back to Lenovo to get it fixed
  5. I'm reading alot of people tried to install the Intel 7620, but did anyone have any luck getting it to work?
