Hello slv7, Do you still plan on flashing the AW 14 A03 bios to unlock more features? I feel like I can get more out of it if I can do some modest BCLK overclocking to my i7 4700. Please let us all know. Thank you.

I am curious. How did you overclock the BCLK to 104.5? Could you please let me know? What is the max limit you raised the BCLK on your system and was it stable?

Three toasted motherboards. Was it due to intense gaming or overclocking. Very curious to know why it has been toasted 3 times. I wouldn't want that happening to my soon to be acquired M11X R3.

I am getting mine configured with the i7 2617 CPU. From what I have seen on reviews, the i7 2617 isn't that much of a step up from the i5 2467 CPU. I heard it is only about a 10 % performance increase going from the i5 2647 to the i7 2617. Both are very capable processors for on the go HD video and photo editing based on some reviews.

Oh man, if they did have an M11X R4, I would hope the screen would have a resolution of 1600 X 900 and be matte. I just purchased an anti-glare filter for my M11X R3 I am getting soon since I'm predicting glare will be horrible on that thing. From the reviews, these anti-glare screen help a bunch but still doesn't beat a good matte screen.

I want to overclock the M11 X R3 that I will be getting tomorrow but need to get the unlocked A05 bios first to play around with the voltage settings and to use Throttlestop to force max turbo. Glad I won't really be needing to do any pin mods.

I purchased mine on fredmiranda.com in the buy and sell tech tools forum. Got the M11X R3 for $680.00 with the i7 2617, 4GB RAM, 720 GB 7200 RPM HDD and 2GB GT 540M DDR3 NVIDIA card. I have seen some great prices for the M11X R3 on the buy and sell forums at notebookreview.com as well.

I am getting my M11X R3 tomorrow. I heard it is very strong on battery life but reviews say the screen is not that great. Although, the person that I bought it from told me that once he calibrated the M11X R3 screen, that the colors were much more beautiful and accurate. He even said viewing angles became more tolerable after calibration. I do have a Spyder 3 Express calibrator so hoping that when I calibrate the screen that it will look much better.

I am very curious about this bios mod. I was wondering what other hidden options are unlocked? Would I be able to use ThrottleStop to force max turbo by using this unlocked bios or overclock the BCLK? Would be glad to hear from all the M11X R3 owners who have done this bios mod. Any help would be appreciated.
