So, sort of good news I have been able to "fix" the bluetooth to some degree, I was able to stop the bluetooth from disconnecting when waking from sleep at least about 80% of the time. On top of that it still has some quirks sometimes on a cold boot it doesn't connect but a quick reboot will help it connect. I cant remember the tutorial that I used to achieve it and dont really have time to find it, but hopefully I can post it soon.

I would agree, the slimmer profile is nothing but a good thing. Wouldn't want to game at 4k res. anyways, I don't need to kill my eye sight before Im 50, unless Im playing slower paced games like Sim City or something of the like. Touch I could go either way, if it was there Alright but it wouldn't be something I would actively seek out.

I had recently replaced my Y500's wifi card with the 7260, but the problem I am facing is a common one but just wondering if someone has figured out a fix? But the Bluetooth randomly disconnects after about an hour or so of use, sometimes it doesn't, anyone know why? thanks in advance, Sorry, now back on topic aside from said issue the wifi is well worth the upgrade.

I have lots of friends that have dealt with Deviantart for selling lots of stuff, from their experiences I would say they would be one of the best for both getting recognition and for selling your art without getting screwed over. The best part of Deviantart is that you can build the interest first instead of jumping in completely and not really being recognized. There have been many instances that I can think of me being one of them, that I have offered or posted things up in other places, but no one saw my work simply because they really had to dig to find it or I had to provide a link to the piece or so on. I think one of the keys is to find a place you can keyword the image so it makes it find-able. Also I dont think that DA take too much of a commission when you sell through them. As far as I know Etsy doesn't take any but they are also harder to "make" it with them. Hope this helps ANY. nEmo

Hey all, Not sure if any of you saw or care but Lenovo has announced 2 new models closely related to the Y500 and Y400, Spec wise they seem to be pretty sound, With the option of getting a 4k screen too also the ability for touch. A Nvidia gpu was stated but wasn't said which one it would be, but there is also going to be an option of an AMD R9 m270 w/ 4gb as well, some rumors abound that there also will be an SLI version too (although un-confirmed). -4th gen i7 (not stated which) -up to 16gb of ram -many hard drive variations HDD, SSD and SSHD were all mentioned. Pretty standard fare considering the models it is "replacing", Launch window is May 2014 not sure if I can, due to me being new but a quick google search will lead you to the spec sheet and announcement from Lenovo. ~nEmo

Hey so I'm nEmofunk, I came to this site originally so I could get my Y500 bios unlocked to use with a new wireless adapter, one of which Im glad to see lots of other people using aswell. Not really much else to say about myself.
