Yeah, I'm not sure what happened, but the TN panel (which I ordered by mistake) in my P157SM kind of surprised me. Much better than the majority of TNs I've seen in the past.

This seems like heavy-duty stuff. What sort of overclock do you have to be going for to start running in to power issues?

Hey Perma, in the link a few pages back you mentioned you were using a 120hz panel... Is that in a P157SM? Any idea where I might source one? Is it a drop in replacement? I recall seeing them on some of the bigger notebooks... Would be really nice, as I can't always drag an extra monitor around to play games on...

I have a P157SM, but it does some strange/random fan stuff too. The fans seem to kick on even when it's idle. May have caught it once while it was sleeping, but that could just be a memory error on my part.

Ah, very nice, looking forward to trying out the modded BIOS for p157sm... Have been somewhat disappointed by the overall performance, moreso by the two bluescreens I've gotten in the past two months or so. My last machine, once I got the overclock set right didn't bluescreen for 4 years. I kind of forgot they existed...
