  1. Hey guys. I was having difficulty with my spacebar, so I decided to take it off to clean underneath it. Lifting from the top, I removed and then cleaned it, however, I am now unable to reattach it back to the keyboard. I even followed to remove the Windows key as a test, and now that key won't go back on either! Could somebody please create a video/picture guide or explain how to reattach the keys? Thanks. There's absolutely no documentation on the subject.
  2. Bugs: Attempting to turn off the backlight keyboard whilst "Custom Cycle" is selected causes it to momentarily turn off, but then back on again (depending on update rate). Launching Battlefield 3 causes the backlight to rapidly flash multiple colours, regardless of whether LightFX is enabled or not (and same problem as above, unable to turn off backlight keyboard). P150EM, Windows 7 64-bit, with HotKey file version 6.0.0.75 and your latest backlight controller installed.
  3. Thanks Prema. Got everything working fine and dandy. For those who struggled for a little bit trying to get out of UEFI boot like I did, make sure you have Secure Boot disabled before turning UEFI Boot off/disabled. By default, this BIOS (v2.0) will be in UEFI mode with Secure Boot enabled. Yes.
  4. That's what I thought, but then I stumbled into this thread and got a little startled (see bold red text in middle of OP). It was my understanding that vBIOS' and BIOS' were the same? So, then wouldn't installing one of those overwrite the current BIOS on the system? Or am I getting all muddled up again? :-/ Thanks.
  5. Choose Clevo: for better performance for price, for larger/more modern selection of components, for better upgradability/internal modifications. Choose Alienware: for style, for support.* *Support may not necessarily be better than your local Clevo reseller/manufacturer. Build quality of both laptops are on par with each other. In your case, it depends on whether you want a mobile laptop (if that's the case, go with Clevo, due to the smaller size and weight). If mobility doesn't matter, go with Alienware (purely due to the fact that it runs SLI) or look into the various desktop options available.
  6. Hi Prema, Would these BIOS modifications work on non-Sager (but still Clevo) hardware? For example, a Metabox (Australia) P150EM? Also, do these BIOS modifications also remove the 135MHz overclocking restriction imposed by nVidia for the 600MX series (670MX)? Regards and thank you in advance
