Im so close to breaking 15k graphics score 3dmark11 dawn utilisation holding me back.

What ram+core oc?

Ive been analysing my 3dmark benchmarks and compairing to gpuz log files what is perfcap 16? and how does one overcome it?

yea double checked it appears sli 680m is as far as you can go in the x7200 unless someones stealth modded the bios? at least the 675mx does work in the HM

sorry mate gone only got gtx780ms up for grabs for some reason i cant edit my signiture atm it just revert to my pervious after i save. - - - Updated - - - stick a 780m in your x7200 and drop a gtx675m from your x7200 in your hm i imagine thats doable now the gtx680m can function in he hm,ill investigate.

Hmm thats terrible i wonder if its system bios related reading sensors incorrectly or values dont tie up with what the system expects? So throws a random fit once in a while..... when it throttles does it wake up if you just keep the load on or just die on its arse?

Oh damn... nothing so serious on clevo.. thats not throttling thats a coffee break.ive never had that at all...

I have v10 also no throttling running nice with windows 7 solo and sli.

Anyone know if you can put an alienware power jack on the psu link box clevo use? Or is there a better way to link psus

Not sure if dual psu is viable on aw18 do they makd a converter/link box for psu's like clevo does?

Thats an aw thing? Most clevos now have intel thunderbolt that outputs to the tv? There are a methods

3d tv play.... just get external usb nvidia ir and glasses and output 120hz.... forget the utility.

So AW guys would a alx18 or an m18xr2 be the best SLI 980m platform to run? that may or may not be true of my machine tbh as im running 660w psu and desktop cpu. but ive seen no relation to thottling tied with my cpu i maxed my gpu score then overclocked saw no additional gpu behaviour from the 980s either st stock 6 cores 3900 or all rocking 4600 so im tempted to rule cpu out of the equasion as an Alienware or Haswell Quirk. - - - Updated - - - ill do some bench runs tonight in windows 7 see how it differs from windows 8.1 right now my cards are in a pair of other machines as ive proven them in my p570wm.

OR... driver gimping which is equally likely... i wouldnt put it past nvidia to purposefully gimp the drivers to prevent people overclocking

its not huge but its there all the time but i never go over 62 degrees C so its certainly not temperature and if i increase voltage it throttles more so vbios issue no doubt

Benching was all in 8.1 environment so win 7 probably would already surpass 30k havent bothered checking yet still investigating what it is about 3d thats not available on the 980m especially as it functions correctly with a monitor - - - Updated - - - both im affraid
