  1. For anyone who owns this laptop, and is having a constantly flickering during Full Screen gaming with the latest WHQL drivers, it seems to be an issue specific to this unit and these drivers. You can temporarily resolve by downloading the 320.49 drivers, which have all the same SLI profiles. These are still available on the NVidia site. Here's a post with some additional users on the NVidia forums experiencing this same issue. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/611984/geforce-drivers/327-23-whql-display-kills-750m-sli/3/ Will post back when it's fixed, hopefully in the next WHQL release.
  2. This is the one MMO game where I literally sweat on my gamepad/keyboard/mouse while playing. I liked it, but wasn't a big fan of the fully Asian artistic style.
  3. Thanks for the information! I just picked up one of these on Amazon.com for $49. Going to install it pretty soon and will post back here with the results. I can't even describe how much hair I lost after trying to get IBM to fix all the problems I was having with the 2230!
  4. The latest drivers caused this issue with my y510p. I'd recommend using 320.49 drivers for now until Lenovo/NVidia iron out this issue.
  5. I had the same issue with the latest NVidia drivers on my y510p with Ultrabay 750m SLI. I had to go back to 320.49 drivers. You might want to try that and see if your issues go away.
  6. It took me a while to get used to Windows 8 and the changes. I'd recommend going to a few sites and familiarizing yourself with the hotkeys - mainly windows-C for the charm bar. My gripe with Windows 9 on the y510p is that there is no touch screen. Windows 8 is really intuitive once you use it on a touch device. Also, StarDock software makes a mod that adds in the classic Windows 7 start menu if you can't get used to the windows it one. Holding shift and scrolling out allows you to drag program groups in the Windows 8 start menu into groups, and then you can right click on these groups to name them.
