Have you tried Arma 3? Great way to push your graphics card to the limit.

I believe it's possible to have the VRMs overheat when overvolting long before the processor core, it's not possible to tell as there's no temperature sensor for these but be careful and don't push the voltage too high

People are far too delicate with their hardware, there's a reason Intel built in automatic throttling at around the 100c mark, unless you hit that I wouldn't worry.

I've had some issues where my clock speeds are still throttling at around the 80c mark, is this due to me hitting the TDP limit?
