Yeah, you shound NOT flash a desktop bios on your mobile card. You'll brick it for sure, it's not the same card at all.

I think it's the turbo boost. Maybe try to load only one core and see if the drop happens. In any case, you can use ThrottleStop but be carefu with it.

Yeah, Creative stuff is good. I have a X-Fi XtremeGamer rocking for several years now. Just be careful ; their drivers can be really crappy. They even wanted you to buy the sound card apps again when Vista was released. The same that was on the CD. Of course, they quickly changed their mind. -
The only bad experience I had with a MSI product is a cheap desktop mobo. Other than that I have a GX740 for 4 years now and i never had a single problem, other than the internal mic which is really reaaaaallly crappy.

Thanks for the MSI 675MX bios.. i'll try it today. Just one thing, what does "tweaked performance for high clocks" really mean ?
