Is there a way to lock the 4700mq in turbo mode so it may run higher than 2.4Ghz at all times?

Is there any progress on unlocking the bios for the alienware 18? I have the A00 if anyone would like me to dump it.

I get 3.09 in a stress test. I can play with multipliers in XTU but I can't adjust core clock or anything. I should have got the 4800mq.

Would it be worth it to update to A02 or should I stay at A00?

My 18 has a 4700mq. Kind of regretting that decision. What can I do to squeeze more performance out of it? Anything at all?

How do you install a chip to unlock the BIOS?

Just received my Alienware 18 last Wednesday. I ordered it in early June. I was among the unfortunate who had there order cancelled multiple times. Worth the wait though
