I have an I7-3770 (non K) overclocked and undervolted! It has a very low temperature! My bios setting: multiplier 41X, Vcore offset -100mV. The 22nm Intel IMHO are very undervolt friendly...

Sorry, but flashing the bios don't fix hardware failures...
