I'm just getting started with this awesome laptop. But, I have had great success UEFI wise. I've got Opensuse 12.3 , and Windows 8 EFI boot options with no need for legacy mode. Plus I can switch to legacy mode and use it for other additions, as I progress (or regress in the legacy case).

Did you get rid of it in the bios or what? For me, I'm just looking to unlock the bios. And, use the standard vbios. I expect to be able to use that as a control I can easily return to when needed ( regardless of what my dev plans are). It’s been a little challenging ie, I've made several posts, and still can't see the bios mod screenshots-muchless download anything.

Anything similar for the 750's?

Good mention, thanks. I'm continuing to learn the steps with the bios mods. Lots of new abilities to change settings= lots to learn. This is a great laptop.

How about applying the reverse (650 bios flash onto 750)? I have a 750 SLI, and would prefer to run 2 lower temp 650s, and flash back up when game's require more in the future.

First post ya'll, I will enjoy learning the content of this thread. while i get started, is there any videos showing the different changes for bios? A particular interest is possible changes to allow OS X. great forum
