Prima, When flashing the Bios on the laptop is there any change to the embeded windows product key that is installed on the Bios? Jacob Eli Goodson

Forum, I am using a svl7 modified bios with default voltage. The temperatures reach 90c and the gpu reduces its clock rate then increases it again until the temperature reaches 90c this cycle takes less than one minute and repeats during use. How can this issue be resolved?

khenglish, Thanks for the information. Does anyone have any other ideas as to why the graphics card is throttling even when at stock gpu and memory clocks?

khenglish, Do you have more information on the resistor modification. Specificly how to solder an additional resistor to increase memory voltage?

svl7, When using a vbios with OV or non OV on my 680m there is a throttling problem when temps reach 90c this is even when not overclocked. Is there any resolution to this throttling temperature problem?

svl7, When trying to flash the vbios from cms in windows and in ms dos when trying to use the command nvflash -a to find out more about the graphics card a message is returned that states that No NVidia display adapters are found. What can I do about this? [update] The vbios update functioned as advertised when the 680m is disabled from the device manager. The graphics drivers were uninstalled at the time as well.

More information on a duel boot solution Windows Osx would be helpfull and appreciated.

Hello Forum, Im introducing myself to this forum after being referred by a Google search about overclocking which led to Prima mod which led to svl7 mod which led to here. The resources here are amazing and I hope to utilize them in the future.

I have recently purchased the Sager Midern(9150-S) Clevo(P150EM) and noticed after benchmarking before draining battery and after draining battery that fuere was a 20 frames per second difference with Heaven by Unigine as the benchmarking software. Does anyone have an idea as to what may cause this difference in frames per second?
