Patched this together on request, M18x R1 BIOS A05 (unlocked) with the RST 11.5 OROM. The orom comes from the station-drivers site, not sure whether it will work fine with the M18x, though I don't really see why it shouldn't. Btw, something's weird with the original orom in the R1 BIOS, the checksum is wrong... confusing. Anyway, here's the BIOS, let me know how it performs. Also remember to use the latest RST driver for this ROM. Flash with your favorite BIOS utility or the tools provided by Dell. As always, use at your own risk. Download link:

Hey SVL7, I have read this whole thread from page 1, its incredible, and i have learnt alot from everyone posting in here, thanks guys! I found my way over here from NBR and plan on hanging around!! Anyway, I am just chasing some information that maybe was cleared up in previous pages, which bios could/should i use on my 4GB clevo 680m, im chasing really the highest volts and OC potential really! thanks -Grechie

OK I have had time to test both the MSI vbios' and they both seem fine stability wise, its just that with the V1 there were some clock speed fluctuations in games. With the V2 version however, the clock speed in games was locked to 929Mhz and stayed there for the hour that I tested it. Rock solid by the way.... Sooo I have decided to stay with the V2 but I was wondering if you could adjust the clocks a little for me that would be awesome. I would like 900 on the core and 1100(2200) on the memory with no other changes. I thought the mem speed on these OV's was supposed to be at 2200, mine is at 1800, I still have to oc with inspector to get my 2200 mem. Anyway if you could do that for me let me know and I will send you a donation for your efforts. Cheers Brett

Nvidia GTX 870m: 'OC edition' -> see above Nvidia GTX 860m (GK104 variant): 'OC edition' -> see above. Refer to the file name to know which version is suited for your system. NOTE: Only for the Kepler version of the 860m. (HP) K3000m - 80.04.33.00.2E - 'OC edition' - > same as above, but probably the better choice if you use a HP machine ----------------------- K5000m: (Dell) K5000m - 80.04.33.00.35 - 'OCedition' -> higher software overclocking limit, stock 3d clocks 758MHz It's Dell but should work on all K5000m, unless you get a board ID mismatch. ----------------------- GTX 670mx: MSI 670mx (1.5GB) - 80.04.5B.00.A5_'OCedition'_rev00 -> higher software overclocking limits, tweaked performance at high clocks. Same board as the Clevo card.
