  2. That annoys me so much! One of my lecturers at uni keeps asking everyone "How many gigs their GPU has" and seems to rate them on that. He really should know better! I'd like to see a 3gb 555m up against my 1.5gb GTX 580.

  3. Hey, welcome to T|I! Don't worry, that's totally normal. You'd need far better textures or a way higher resolution than 1080p to completely use 4GB of VRAM. The cards simply use what they need. For most applications 1GB per card would probably be more than enough, especially for a resolution of only 1080p. GPU manufacturers recently just tend to put more VRAM on mobile graphics solutions since a most people believe that this is the most important thing when it comes to video cards, which is not true.
