batfinks Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 I purchased a Dell Amd Firepro M6000 for my Alienware m15x due to the fact it was £75 new and couldn't pass it up.now the hard stuff, has anyone attempted to install such a card in the m15x ? will it work ?the card will not arrive till Tuesday so I am just after info on what is needed to get it to work if possible.thanks in advance. sashimi101 Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Believe the M6000 is very similar in performance to the 5850m or 5870m.Been using the 5850m for a long time and it can still run recent games like final fantasy 14 fluently.
