I'm assuming yes however want to make 100% sure. also will the the 2 pipe heat sink be efficient enough for the upgraded cpu along with ic diamond thermal paste ? Solo wing Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) The 3940XM will work with the R4. I'm using the original 2-pipe heat sink + IC diamond paste + M14x R2 fan mod.
