RoniXt
I can't get a 2015 MacBook Pro 13 or 2012 Mac Mini to get past the grey boot screen with the eGPU connected. This seems like the PCI bridge problem common to the Sonnet III-D and Nestor NA211TB but is there no solution yet?

You have an interesting combination. 2015 13" MBP has been reported problematic both on OS X and Windows. Hang at boot is a common issue with multi-slot enclosures, which is resolved in automate-eGPU v0.9.2 on OS X: http://forum.techinferno.com/mac-os-x-discussion/10289-script-enabling-nvidia-egpu-screen-output-os-x-7.html#post137940 Requirement is the [-a] parameter. Please note that this is still experimental, so take a Time Machine backup. You might be the first to try that script with a 2015 MBP. If you want to get this working on Windows, it’s more difficult. I am happy to help you as I happen to own NA211TB as well
RoniXt
Thanks goalque, the script worked like magic on the Mac Mini with 10.10.3 and I didn't even need to use the -a parameter. 10.10.4 didn't work too well though and leaving the eGPU plugged in during boot would keep me in a restart loop. I haven't tested it on the MacBook Pro yet since it's my main workhorse and I don't have time for multiple backup/restore sessions right now.Is there any way to get HDMI audio working? Or is it a known defect with the eGPU under OS X?
